"Often inspired by nature both inert and human my work explores the intimacies and distances that exist between individuals and objects, the inherent energies possessed by each, and the potential fusion that may bind them together. Relationships are created, explored, and broken until the image becomes more resolved, matured."
Sadia Uqaili is an arts administration executive, accomplished curator of exhibits, a visual artist, and a printmaker. She has lectured and has had her own work exhibited internationally.
Currently, she is the Chief Program Officer at Snow City Arts, a program of arts and cultural education for children in four pediatric hospitals of Chicago. She is the Chair of Arts and Culture, at The Lahore Committee of Chicago Sister Cities International and has served on the Acquisitions
Committee of The Asian Arts Council at The Art Institute of Chicago
